Privacy Policy
GIFClear is designed to process your GIF locally while collecting only limited website usage information when analytics is enabled.
Your GIF files
GIF files you select are processed inside your browser. GIFClear does not upload the source file, its frames, or the generated result to our servers. Temporary previews and downloads use local browser URLs and are discarded when you replace the file, close the page, or the browser releases them.
Google Analytics
When enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate site usage, such as page views, sessions, approximate location, browser type, device information, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish users and sessions. GIF file contents are not sent to Google Analytics.
Cookies and controls
You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings. Browser privacy controls, content blockers, or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on may also limit analytics collection. Blocking analytics does not prevent the GIF processing tool from working.
Data sharing and retention
We do not sell your GIF files or personal information. Analytics data is handled under Google's terms and retention settings. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process basic request information, such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The current version is effective October 3, 2026.
