Terms of Use
These terms apply when you access or use GIFClear. By using the site, you agree to use it responsibly and lawfully.
The service
GIFClear provides a browser-based tool that attempts to remove solid-color backgrounds from animated GIFs. Results vary with the source file, colors, animation structure, browser, and device. You should review every output before relying on or publishing it.
Your files and rights
You keep your rights in files you process. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use, modify, and distribute them. Do not use GIFClear to violate copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Acceptable use
- Do not interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass the site's security.
- Do not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Do not misrepresent an output or use it in a way that infringes another person's rights.
Availability and warranties
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every GIF, or a particular visual result. Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GIFClear is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use of the service or an exported file. You are responsible for keeping original copies of your files.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The current version is effective October 3, 2026.
